The manufacturer, Burrough's have been in business since 1820 and is located in Kennington, London. Although the name "beefeater" refers to the Yeoman Warders who are the ceremonial guards of the Tower of London, the bottle actually appears to have a Yeoman of the Guard, rather than the traditionally dressed "Beefeater," depicted on it
